Indiana-Armstrong County Builder’s Association

IABA is one of the 41 local associations across the state that make up the Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA). The association has 425 members and employs more than 6,000 people across two counties. The IABA is dedicated to furthering education in the new uniform building code and determining how it will affect the builders and sub-contractors in the area.

The IABA offers seminars and training sessions regarding the uniform building code to its members. They will be produced by the Pennsylvania Housing Resource Center with help from the PBA.

The IABA is also pleased to be an active supporter of the vocational-technical schools in both counties and the local chapters of Habitat for Humanity. The association also sponsors the annual IABA Home Show featuring local craftsman.

Pennsylvania Builder’s Association

PBA is a nonprofit, professional trade organization representing 12,000-plus member-companies from across the state. PBA’s 528,000 individual members include builders, remodelers, material suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, lending institutions, utilities and others involved in the housing industry. PBA serves its membership by providing proactive leadership on state regulatory and legislative issues and by offering products and services to its 39 local associations that enhance the effectiveness and professionalism of its members.

PBA serves Pennsylvania communities and consumers through its steadfast efforts to protect homeownership rights and advocate for affordable housing options. PBA is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders.
